On a morning when temperatures were in the mid-40s with a brisk northwesterly wind, two dozen brave souls went topless to draw attention to breast cancer.

The difference in this Manhattan skyline photo shoot is nine of the participants were men.

Look closely and you’ll see their scars. Like women, some have had mastectomies. Others, lumpectomies.
