We are thrilled to announce that after a long hiatus, we’re bringing back our in-person Male Breast Cancer Conference in 2025! This will be the 12th annual gathering of male breast cancer survivors, advocates, and experts, and the first time we’ll reunite in person since our unforgettable 2019 event in Orlando.
The 2025 conference promises to be even more impactful, with a renewed focus on awareness, education, and community.
Why This Event Matters
Male breast cancer is rare, but it’s a reality that thousands of men face each year. Our mission at MaleBreastCancerHappens.org is to ensure that no man fights this battle alone. The 12th annual conference in Kansas City will provide an opportunity for survivors to connect, share their experiences, and support each other.
But it’s not just about the survivors; it’s about everyone who is passionate about curing cancer and raising awareness for this often-overlooked disease.
What to Expect
This event will feature some of the leading minds in cancer research and treatment. Attendees will have the chance to learn from top doctors and scientists who are at the forefront of breast cancer research. We’ll dive deep into the latest advancements, discuss the unique challenges faced by male breast cancer patients, and explore the future of cancer care.
In addition to the educational sessions, the conference will offer plenty of opportunities for networking, peer support, and camaraderie. Whether you’re a survivor, a caregiver, a healthcare professional, or an advocate, you’ll find something valuable at this event.
Why Kansas City?
Choosing Kansas City as the host city for the 12th annual Male Breast Cancer Conference is more than just a geographic decision; it’s deeply personal. Bret Miller, the founder of the Male Breast Cancer Foundation, along with his mother Peggy Miller, who has been a driving force behind the foundation’s work, are both based in Kansas City. This city is not just their home but also the heart of the foundation’s mission.
Kansas City’s rich history, vibrant culture, and welcoming spirit make it the perfect backdrop for this significant event. It’s a city known for bringing people together, and we’re honored to bring our community of survivors and supporters here for such an important cause.
While the exact venue is still being finalized, we’re committed to choosing a location that reflects the warmth and dedication of Bret and Peggy’s vision.
